Alternate (2022)


The Planning Board consists of seven members and three alternate members.  Member vacancies are filled by election by the voters in March as terms expire. Alternate Member vacancies are filled by the Planning Board.  The term of office is three years.

The Board encourages anyone interested in serving to consider applying for vacancies on the Board.  A membership application is available for appointed positions.  No prior experience is necessary.

Lakes Region Planning Commission

The Town of Belmont is a member of the Lakes Region Planning Commission. As such, Belmont has two seats on the LRPC governing Board of Commissioners. Belmont Commissioners to LRPC:  (2) Vacant  Transportation Advisory Committee Representatives: Vacant, Land Use Technician ; Brian Jackes, Asst. DPW Director (Alternate)
